its not just about looks either, we all cope in life in general.

if youre a short guy its natural that you would wanna cope with the fact by looking at short celebrities for example and using the fact that girls crush on them as motivation and lifefuel.

if a family member of yours was murdered its natural that you cope with it by believing that the murderer will get punished for it in the after life.

if youre tall and ugly its natural that you cope by using the fact that women like tall guys as lifefuel.

even if you were the most attractive guy and you were the ideal height but your iq was sub 100 you would still cope by saying that iq doesnt matter.

some copes are more realistic than others tho.

for example if you were subhuman and you used the fact that some other subhuman that you saw had a girlfriend as cope that would be quite unrealistic simply because its very rare.

on the other hand if you are 5'10 with a chadlite face, its completely realistic to say that it doesnt matter that you arent 6ft+ because it really wouldnt matter in that case given that you have a really attractive face.

i dont get why people make fun of others for coping. coping has existed since humans were able to form coherent thoughts.

those are extreme examples tho, i mean more for an individual person that cope is fine, although to a certain extent. because yea cope can also make you do extreme things for example if a person gets raped and they cope with it by raping others because it makes them feel more powerful then thats obviously bad. but thats also an extreme example.
