Well I think its partially because you have an idea in your head on how a stacylite should look like. I mean to be mid stacy you gotta be top 0.12% rather than top 1%, which is a pretty massive leap. You gotta remember that the 1/100 is borderline htb. Because most of the stacylites we are talking about are well within range, you may get a diffrent idea of how they should look. Similar to how an lmtb looks vastly diffrent from a hmtb. This is just an estimation based off binomial distribution but I think its fairly accurate. In your school you may have 0 stacylites, 4, or maybe even a stacy though its just less likely yk
