In all fields US lead and in some UK, Japan, Korea etc. do better than China.

So what is the main reason for this?

-330 million people with highest average disposable income in world (63k US, 6k China which is brutal), second after luxembourg if median matters more (49k, US is 48k)

We're talking about a country that gets 61% of its iron ore from Australia and 73% of its oil from US allies. It's not hard to imagine what would happen to China even in a minor conflict with Anglos and their allies. The same fate that befell Germany, Japan, and Italy.
