They changed my cerave moisturizer to make me MORE DRY

Ordered 4 bottles of the same cerave moisturizer i always get and noticed the label was slightly discolored

The liquid came out thinner and was harder to get out

It smelled different

AND LITERALLY DRYS OUT MY FACE HOW IN THE ACTUAL FUCK

Don't put stuff with phenoxyethanol on your face.

Also, the recipe did change. It originally didn't have it.

Ingredients (2021): Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Potassium Phosphate, Ceramide NP, Ceramide AP, Ceramide EOP, Carbomer, Dimethicone, Ceteareth-20, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Methylparaben, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Cholesterol, Disodium EDTA, Dipotassium Phosphate, Propylparaben, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Phytosphingosine, Xanthan Gum, Polysorbate 20, Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate.

(Ceteraryl alcohol and cetyl is different and ok, it is not a drying alcohol, it just helps the product absorb)

skincare companies always reformulate their products so don’t expect to find something that works for you to work for long

Unlucky due to product defect or maybe you accumulated lots of dryness from continued tret use etc. that moisturiser wasn’t enough to offset. You will need an occlusive like a balm.
