They gonna give me a crown for my teeth. Should I do it or no

So 3 years ago some dumb nigha pulled filling in teeth when I had cavitie but they weren’t aware at that time anyways

Fast foward they gave me option to give me a crown which I think it’s a fake tooth from my understand or I can get some fake filling inside my tooth anyways or I can get braces

I have to choose between because I’m broke
