Looking back now, it was actually pretty cool, since I got to eat whatever I wanted off the menu for free

And it was a recession proof and layoff proof income

Believe it or not, it’s better to own a restaurant than to work in tech

In the restaurant, you’re your own boss and can’t lose your job

And people will always want cheap takeout

In tech, you can be fired at will for any reason or no reason at all
