But how could it not? Actually getting to do what you want, having servants, luxurious comforts. Beautiful women in their bikini on your boat. Getting restaurant quality steaks every day.

How can millionaires cope? Their life must be such misery, after all they love telling everyone it doesn't give them happiness. Yet if a beggar is dying for a bread, they won't drop a dime unless one of their sluts is filming it. Rant over.

the only thing that gives happiness is living in the present moment free of all wants and desires.

It's true. Money can only bring momentary pleasure. It fades away once you get used to it. All pleasures fade away once you achieve them and you move on to seek next pleasure. Pleasure is not happiness. Happiness can only come from denouncing all material pleasures and the rat race itself. Read Arthur Schopenhauer. Or the Upanishads.

And you can escape the rat race, by buying a comfy chalet and shit ton of land somewhere really beautiful. Money buys almost everything you equate with freedom.

It doesn't. But fair enough I am not gonna argue

Money improves your quality of life. You still live in your mom's basement if you say otherwise.

I don't believe in it completely. It's hard and I am not a monk. That's why I am not happy. But I understand it. Maybe one day I will be free of all desires. Until then I am bound to run like a hamster on a wheel

based answer, my same attitude

Yes but all the vacations I’m alone and have to force myself to talk to people. It’s torture. Worse than LDAR in a basement.

when I climbed mountain in Africa, I tried to talk to other people climbing and they all IGNORED ME. Every last one. It’s over. Money doesn’t cure NT. Not yet Atleast. Maybe it just takes longer
Shit man, if I had a friend who took me on vacations, I'd talk all the bs to girls to get him laid. Do nice acts to people, even little things like offer them a pen in class or some cookies if you got some. It's easiest way to win people over.

u need money ofc for quality of life but u don't need to be a millionare to be happy, a middle class chad will feel much more fulfilled with his life than an ugly billionaire

And that's exactly what money can and will provide.
once u get money, ull start wanting something else, and itll be like ah shit, here we go again

learning to find peace in the moment is the best idea in the long run

poorcels think money is everything when it comes to a valuable life but once u have enough of it to sustain a healthy living ur perspective on attaining happiness changes completely

The women were the typical vapid attracted to wealth type and they weren't very attractive - your typical early 30s roastie looking for a betabux to settle down with. He fucked one russian Stacy tho who looked like an escort.

hedonic adaptation

Money helps you attain happiness, everything you just mentioned are what money allows you to do. But money intrinsically does not bring happiness because by itself it's worthless paper.

And it's also usually rich people who say that money doesn't bring you happiness which is just a way to try and stop the poor from ascending. Part of the benefit of being wealthy is the exclusivity of it, nothing exclusive when everyone has it.
