I'm 4'11" and while I don't have a filter set for height I prefer guys under 6'. It's not a strong preference, personality wins, but it's there. every date I've gone on with a man from bumble, he has lied about his height. I can see a difference of an inch or two (some people don't stand straight). But I am 5'6" and these men.who have prompted me to post this have been very obviously shorter than I am, while their profiles say 5'10+. (While others exaggerate by a couple inches)

Since there's been A LOT of posts of people complaining about heightism, I'd like to give you another perspective.
Just because we arent the vocal about wanting non-tall guys, doesn't mean we don't exist.
Personally I don't like the idea of dating anyone over 6'0 because it makes dating difficult. I don't reject anyone based on their height though, shorter is just my preference.
And I know many women who feel the same - or just don't even consider height a factor at all.
Women also experience insecurity about their height. I wish I wasn't short as it makes my life difficult in significant ways, but I have to suck it up and deal with it. And I also wear chunky sneakers to help a bit
