I lived in Silicon Valley (near Santa Clara University) half of the 80s when it was a tech nerd sausage fest, night life was just sad. In CA the only success I had with women was via Golf (I was roughly an 8 handicap) or triathlon. Most of the other half I lived in Rochester NY, night life involved Disco clubs on the weekend and bowling during the week. My subhuman jawline resulted in me getting zero club hookups. The few NY hookups I got were in various ways related to work (I was an Engineer)

The worst reaction was this neurotic jewish girl I had as a FWB. We had known each other for months but we only ever went to her place and banged. I finally had her over to my place for the first time and she legit freaked out and left. She kept saying "I am getting creep vibes from your place, I'm sorry" The fact there were no pictures of family or anything really made her sick to her stomach.

We ended up still hanging out, a few days later and it was thanksgiving and so I invited her over to my parents house since her fam is in israel, and so she could see I am a "real person" and she came over after a lot of hesitation but she had a great time with my parents and me. She even asked my mom why I didn't have pics in my apt and my mom agreed with her that I am a fucking weirdo and that she could see how that can freak girls out.

Sheeeit, my room is an empty box when it’s clean and I was planning to keep it that way when I move out. Never even knew pictures were an NT trait let alone the rest of your list
