if a girl likes you SHE will lead the conversation and SHE will try to escalate sexually with you. Most men got the verbal/social skills of a vegetable, girls do all the work. Menahwile i got the best lines, the wittiest jokes and women just leave me on delivered or use me as an emotioanl tampon. Its kinda Like Howard from Big Bang Theory who always had the best pickup lines and rizz but no girl gve a shit cuz he was a fucking ugly.

which i have and most people do as well. doesnt matter much. women dont even pay attnetion to what you are saying if they dont like you face
 
Social skills matter a lot in every sphere of life. As far as women go, unless you think in extremes, the same applies. On one hand you have some extremely good looking guy who doesn't have to say much and hardly puts in any effort (which doesn't equate to having poor social skills on its own) and then on the other hand you have a very ugly man trying his hardest, using every trick in the book only to fail miserably. This is not a perfect example, but I won't go into a tedious explanation why. You have to understand that the vast majority of people don't belong to either extreme. How many times have you had a girl show interest in you only for you to screw it up by not taking the iniative or being awkward? How many times have you read the same story here? How many girls are you going to meet in the first place when your social skills are negative and you can't even go through with paying for your groceries without being an awkward autist? I know in your mind you have some sort of a picture of a Chad that is a drooling retard and gets 10/10 women all the time but the fact is that not only almost all attractive people have their looks but they also have very well developed social skills. If a woman has a realistic shot at someone who is very good-looking, chances are she is good looking enough herself for her to have more than one very good looking man open as an option, and there is also a high chance that that man is also very socially developed.

TL;DR you won't "ascend" past your retard level social skills magically

my view: it matters, but its not everything, if the girl dont like your looks at all, the social skills wont do much.
