Think I just tried my fucking cpu

Accidentally plugged a pcie cable into the CPU slot. Fixed that but now it's not turning on even though the power supply is still working.

Any geeks here? Do you think I fried the CPU or motherboard or both?

The pins actually matched up though.. there were just 2 pins hanging off the edge.

I figured it was a backwards compatibility thing cause sometimes it's like that. Should have checked though lol cause I haven't done this stuff in years

Check to see that the cable for a CPU fan is in the dedicated CPU fan pin.
