think im balding at 17, need advice on what to do/take (pics included)

to provide some context i’ve had a full beard since 15/16 and my hairline is straight and is not going back. my father and grandfather balded this way too so i need help on how to break this generational curse.

your hair is thick and hair line intact you only need finasteride to completely halt it. it might be tough to get prescription at your age though. i wouldnt bother with minox with your type of super thick hair fin is enough. just don't delay.

if 1mg and 5mg are at a similar price get 5mg you can split them into 4 and it becomes extremely chheap 30 5mg tabs will last 120 days compared to 1mg lasting just 30.

ED, depression, gyno, watery semen, etc are the worst. the incidence rate is low like 1%-4% but it's there. Generally symptoms cease once you stop taking the drug.

no. the only alternative is an old research compound called RU58841. It never made it to the market. We don't really know what it could do long term to you and people surrounding you.

If you don't ingest, I guess. It's not the same though. Minox doesn't stop the balding process. It basically helps stimulate hair growth but you're still balding underneath and you can't outrun what's happening underneath unless you werent predisposed anyway. it's also a much bigger commitment than fin imo. waiting for the hair to dry and avoiding everyone touching your hair dogs, cats, family, kids, etc. responder rate is quite shabby for topical as well not guaranteed to work. you could try oral but then you'll probably go extremely hairy mode & a slightly higher risk of serious sides harder to obtain as well. I don't know how long min alone would win you in terms of time I doubt it's a lot though. I don't see good things about it online long term tbh supposedly eventually it falls out if you don't stabilize with finasteride or dutasteride.
