- Emotional approach meet your emotional needs
- environmental approach : obtain the stimuli you need interacting with the world, such as social life, feel included... Maybe this could also adress the "life purpose aspect"

- Brain chemistry

Those 4 things interact with each other, you can't be just like hey I'll be spiritual, because your gonna fail too, your not meeting all your needs, and if there was an scenario where you could only have looks but not none of the other 3 things, you'd probably be unhappy down the road too. Thing is that looks is the most powerful thing to get you those thing, beyond any spirituality, and you don't even have to try to do anything, it just gravitates towards you.
