thinking about bimax surgery, explain shit to me

I've been to lots of surgeons already, i have ii class malocclusion, deviated septum, mouth breather narrow palate and shit. surgery would be segmented lefort 2 and to shorten lower jaw. maybe i could expand palate before all this, tell me what you think. in general i think this is all reasonable, but lookmaxers are all about mandible it seems, do you think it a bad idea to shorten it? is it simply to not push too much the maxilla forward? i think my side is pretty awful, is it about excessive gonial angle and recessed maxilla, am i right?
