Thinking about Genioplasty

Here’s a rough idea of my Jaw shape

The red shows the guideline of my mandible, I’m happy that I have a long mandible and tall ramus but the chin is slightly upswung and could be longer with a slightly different rotation to increase the vertical height of my face to reduce the brachy/blocky look. The surgery I’m considering is;
Sliding genioplasty (osteotomy): bone cut and moved — can advance the chin and change vertical height/rotation.

Anyone had one done before? What am I looking at and thinks to look out for to make sure it goes well?

Hard to tell without a picture. If your chin is unideal then yea get a genio

Yeah but I got shitty image quality for photos it’s not as accurate as a mirror. Someone even mentioned how my chin goes up irl once.

sometimes the issue is more than the chin. I'd recommend talking to RSM if you're considering genio
