I personally wouldn’t go below 0.25mg daily. Finasteride’s 5aR inhibiting ability is famous for not scaling linearly, but it has also been found out that there need’s be a minimum level of inhibiton to have any effect against balding. 1mg is more effective than 0.25 or 0.5mg, yet those two could also work. 0.05 and 0.1mg are not quite.

This logic also applies to natural 5aR inhibitors, like saw palmetto. They are too weak to have any effect on MPB.
