I am studying dentistry and I quite like it and would choose this degree any time again.
Sadly it takes a very long time and Im honestly thinking about just wageslaving, getting surgeries and make some kind of social media content.
I know its stupid but idk im always thinking about it

Some countries it doesn't make sense to work unless you can get a really high paying job.

Like I'm on disability and I work part time. But just from my disability earnings alone, I have more disposable income than a lot of wagies with 5+ years experience in their field when you take into consideration their rent, taxes, etc.

im like 1,5 years into it but I already had practical courses and did quite well in them, which you normally have after like 3 years

Yeah thats a stupid idea. Dentistry is a good paying job and prestigious too. You don’t want to work around low class subhumans, plus lots of attractive women become dental hygienists. 8 years is nothing in the grand scheme of things. You will be moneymaxxed the second you graduate. If you are smart enough, then go all the way through.

become a hygienist mayve? you could do it for 2 years. 4 years BDS, 1 year internship and 3 MDS may seem like a lot, but if you're thinking about the courses you're in rn (biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, general medicine) and thinking about the stress, trust me it gets easier! lock in for a few years.

I wish I had studied medicine, vet med, or dentistry
I would’ve never studied dentistry cos I’m not interested in that, but it’s a good choice. My first choice would be vet med

Instead I picked a useless degree (like almost every other degree) and am now turning 23, and can’t get loans for a second degree

Please finish what you started my bhai, anything else you want to do, leave it to the side and if dosen't go as planned you can fall back onto the dentistry job:Comfy:

There's nothing worse than working a minimum wage 9 to 5 or 12 hours shifts

Reconsider because you'll definitely regret it later

Marine biology as a field mogs
But as with zoology, biology and almost all science fields, a bachelors alone isn’t worth much, especially if u don’t get experience or connections like I didn’t
