yes bro I do it to random jobs all the time and they are legally bind to pay you, if they dont then thats a good thing because all you have to do is file a report and then they will be forced to pay you like 3x missing amount

is it rude/morally incorrect? ye kinda, its a little bit selfish but if they can fire you on the spot (not caring about ur finaical situation) then you can quit on the spot as well

If you want to still have a semi-good relationship makeup an excuse like oh I cant work anymore because I got into a car accident and broke my foot smth like that

they pay like $14-17 usd

I quit over text like 20 mins before my shift for them all, Ive never put in a 2 weeks notice partly becuase I feel it would be so awkward showing back up at work

then I would just apply to a new location and get the job in a week btw to quickly get a new job, the method is to just lie about ur experience and larp about your abilities. also be annoying and spam call them about your application

If I didnt get the interview yet I will just straight up say " I filled in the appliaction online, when is the hiring manager available to meet / talk ?"

If we already interviewed I will call them and say " hey I recently did an interview, any follow up or any updates?"
from this response you will be able to tell whether they need a new hire or not, if they are dodgy then its ggs but you can keep calling and bothering them they may give in
