BEHOLD THE NATURAL KILLER CELL

Natural killer cells are cytotoxic lymphocytes, this means that they are violent and kill other cells. There exists 2 majow subsets of NK cells, CD56bright NK cells which are less cytotoxic and are more commonly found in the lymph nodes and CD56dim NK cells which moves like prime king von, this nigga is the responsible of killing the virus infected and cancerous cells in your body.
They are not to be confused with Natural killer "T" cells as they fullfill a different role in the inmune system, NK cells primarily differ from NKT cells from first, their function and where they are produced... for example NK cells are produced inside the bone marrow, lymph nodes and other places where they then enter the bloodstream to start patrolling.
Why do NATURAL KILLER CELL mogs?
That is such a nice question, well, I consider them to mog due to how they act, basically they force the stressed of infected cell to ROPEMAXX (APOPTOSIS). Natural killer cells first detect the infected cell through the lack of presence MHC CLASS 1 markers (MHC class 1) in the cell surface. Cancerous, Tumorous, virus-infected cells and stressed cells often loose this protein. In less words, they know which cell to kill because the cell lacks MHC class 1 markers in it's surface.
Process of Ropemaxxing the cell (Or apoptosis of the cell if you may)
1. As previously mentioned, NK cells detect the lack of MHC CLASS 1 markers on the cell and once they confirm they are some ND nigga without MHC they stick firmly to their objective using proteins like integrin LFA and creates a vaccuum to prevent doing harm to other cells.
2. After sticking to the infected cell NK cells PENETRATES through the cell using perforin protein and INSEMINATES the foid cell with digestive enzymes such as granzymes.
3. Granzymes then activates large amounts of an enzyme known as caspase which then activate endonucleases (ADN digestives enzymes) that destroys the adn into useless fragments to prevent the virus or cancer to keep replicating it self. After this, the caspases destroy the mitochondrias which accelerates the apoptosis.
4. After getting brutally molested, the infected cell desintegrates into small plastic bags that then get devoured by macrophages.
PLAN B: If ts doesn't work the Natural killer cell deploys FasL or TRAIL protein molecules which bind to "death receptors" (FAS/DR4/DR5) that inmediately makes the cell activate caspases and forces apoptosis of the cell.
VERY IMPORTANT: NK cells are the only white blood cells capable of detecting MHC class 1
