This forum doesn't understand what LTN, MTN, and HTN mean

MTN would be the most average looking people, not attractive or unattractive. LTN is in the normie range but the lower end, they're kinda ugly but not hideous. People on this forum say average person is LTN, which makes no sense. How can the average person be below average? And HTN people say is 1 in 20, or 1 in 40, sometimes more. How tf does that make sense? They're still in the normie range by definition, but kinda good looking. So why would it be reserved for top 5% to top 1%?

First of all because LTN, MTN or HTN are not statistics but ideas of looks. If you see a pic of someone you can rate him without knowing what the average dude in that place looks. No wonder why for this forum the average ethnic is LTN.

The problem is people don't understand what PSL is meant to measure.
They think it's a measure of appeal and since the average guy is viewed with a heavy bias, he starts as "below average", because appeal is weighted heavily on the high end.. positively-skewed for worth

But the problem is that PSL doesn't even measure Appeal - your ability to attract somebody else. It measures aesthetics, such as strikingness. It's essentially your ability to model
Whilst an increase in PSL would have strong correlation to a similar increase in Appeal, it's not necessarily true for all cases (e.g. Jordan Barrett)

Average guy is ugly as shit (compared to PSL Gods / average model), like has mediocre facial features + 1-2 things that make him very repulsive and unattractive (is most often something related to the hair, eyes / nose / jaw & chin). This guys are LTN

MTN are the guys who don't have these bad features, or have few but not of such high intensity, but don't have any attractive ones either, like their face doesn't inspire anything

HTN are those who have 2-3 attractive features, nothing very unattractive, and the rest average

They mean that, as the looksmaxxing website is not the majority of the population, the "uncommon ugly people" are common here, even if that's a really arbitrary standard posed by insecure people.
