Whenever I talk about looks (surface level no bp or other lookism content) I get flagged as insecure , weird , obsessive .
Like people will always flag me and tell me I am obsessed even my own family . The other day I was hanging out with a girl and she told me about her insecurity and how she is planning on a rhinoplasty , and I said I am also planning a genioplasty for myself . She looked at me with disgust and said "men aren't supposed to get surgeries , they need to be natural " , I have never ever seen such a stupid look oriented hypocritical double standard in my life . This might sound cliche and corny but ever since I have made an account here I have never felt closer to home ever

we are always taught the narrative that improving looks is "feminine" or "gay" for some reason at least its like this for me in the middle east
