It is a trade off. By making others lives better, you make your life worse because there is more competition. The upside is that you possibly gain other people's respect by being kind. The depressing thing is that some people choose to not help others, because the benefit of helping others is not worth the cost of improving the competition.

Maybe some users you talk to only take for themselves, but there are many people who are kind and want to help, for example Sargeant, this site was made because he had at least some desire to help others.

I gladly share all my advice that I have with you guys. I don't have much good advice tho. The probability that the advice you give to others here will make them "steal" a girl that you are interested in is very low.
