Just look at this random old forum with posters from 1998. That’s before many of you were even born. Where are these posters now? What happened to them?
They were just like us here, posting and conversing with fellow forum users. Now their threads are just a lost piece of internet history.
One day they just stopped posting. That was it. No more.
The same will happen here for all of you, you’re not here forever.

Or these gymcel posts

One day they just all moved on...

There’s something eerie about it tbh

Thanks for posting those links. So bizarre seeing internet history before I was even born. The things they talk about are interesting and reflect the climate and environment they were in at the time. I'm just a big fan of internet history, how it was in the 90s. There are abandoned 90s chatrooms that I have yet to find, so interesting.

It’s weird cos they used acronyms like LMAO and ROFL back then when I thought they were more recent things. Just think, these were people just like us posting, and now they don’t.

Most forum users in the 90s and early 2000s were truecels and social outcasts, except back then they called them geeks, nerds and the like
i have never in my life met a normalfag who uses forums. It's kinda weird to think about that future forum users will be making threads just like this one. Very interesting post OP

One day this very thread and your comment in it will be 50 years old. Maybe by then it’ll be looked at by some researcher studying the incel movement of the 2020’s

Whats crazy is that you can see the age of some users and you can tell that anyone in his 40s was just like us in his 20s posting there.

people's lives change a lot every few years, and so do their beliefs a lot of the time.

I've only met a few ppl who have actually been here for more than a handful of years.

Forums got normal in like 2010 but died down again. Most kids my age no longer know what a forum is

There are some OG users on Bodybuilding.com that are still active. BustaCapp comes to mind, he joined in 2003 and still posts.
