The thing is, how is there still a 1 PSL gap between borderline impossible and complete theoretical perfection? That gap is way too large.
The original concept of the PSL scale is flawed too.
They got rid of 1 and 10 as they said "Nobody can be so ugly they're a 1 or so beautiful they're a 10, so why rate with them?", therefore the scale was decreased to be 2-9, and afterwards shifted to 1-8, to have it begin with the 1 HOWEVER THEY still treat the 1 and 8 as they treated the 1 and 10 in the x/10 system.
