the issue with light blond hair isn't that it makes you look more feminine, it's that it makes your hair look thin when it's short, you basically need to have a medium long hairstyle if it's very light or it'll seem like you're balding, sunlight penetrates it quite hard.

I have a cowlick on the back of my head where the skin shows a little when it's blond, but if I dye it black it's completely gone.
