Not really west/central african descendant have a higher proportion of fast twitch muscles as an adaptation to malaria, among other things, fast twitch muscle fibres are important for sprinting, jumping and other explosive activities which is why most sports involving those qualities are dominated by blacks like sprints.

Fast twitch fibres also respond the most to resistance training and grow faster which is why there are so many black bodybuilders.
