I spent 2-3 months per year in eastern europe due to most of my family living there. Usually lived in the netherlands.

In the netherlands I was one of the ugliest and lowest status kids. Never had female friends, they wouldn't talk to me and refused to play with me. Had decent amount of male friends though.

In poland I was average-looking and had decent 'rich western kid' status. Always played with a big group of female friends there.

Such a huge day/night difference. I stopped visiting eastern europe from when I was ~11yo onwards though so I never ascended there
