i believe the clenched teeth look is caused by the flexing of the masseter muscles, similar to flexing a bicep. the only way to keep the bicep always looking big like when it's flexed, is to exercise it to a point of constantly being big. i assume masseter muscles work similarly?

Yeah true. A gua shua or jaw massages would be helpful for him because it helps remove fat and extra water stored around the chin area.
