Preface:
Been seeing a lot of guys in here ignoring one of the easiest, cheapest things to fix. Figured I'd make a thread since it comes up in dms a lot — eyebrows. Nobody talks about them and it's genuinely free real estate.
Why brows matter:
Eyes are one of the highest-weighted features in facial attractiveness, and your brows are the frame around them. Bad frame makes good eyes look worse than they are. Overgrown or unshaped brows will drag your whole eye area down even if your actual eye shape is solid.
The masculinity angle:
Common mistake:
Guys either do nothing (bushy, unibrow, overgrown) or go too far the other way (thin arches, overplucked). Neither works for men. You want a cleaner version of your natural shape, not a redesign.
How to actually fix it:

The masculinity angle:
thicker brows = read as more masculine, generally. Not universal, but the density/thickness signal is real and measurable, not just forum copium.A 2018 study (N=922, published in Frontiers in Psychology) using a conjoint ranking method found eyebrow thickness and jawbone prominence were the two most salient predictors of facial attractiveness, ranking above cheekbone prominence and eye size.
Common mistake:
Guys either do nothing (bushy, unibrow, overgrown) or go too far the other way (thin arches, overplucked). Neither works for men. You want a cleaner version of your natural shape, not a redesign.
How to actually fix it:
- small scissors + spoolie, trim the long strays
- clean up glabella/unibrow area
- tweeze ONLY the strays outside your natural shape line
- do not thin the body of the brow out
