I dunno if this true, but usually taller is a bit slower. So yeah, easier to hit. But the power of a smaller pro fighter, will be less than waht a big/tall fighter is used to. So it might not have that much impact on him. Plus, if the big/taller trained foghter hits, the smaller guy will likely experience heavier impact than he is used to. I can imagine a bigger/taller fighter, just trading and winning that way.

A fight between same strength tall and short guy broke out ,

that was/is kind muh point.
There should not be equal strength, between a tall and a short man. When they are equally high effort trained.
If both man have 50% muscle mass, And the shorter man at 170 cm weights 70KG; thus 35kg muslce mass. And the taller 185cm person weights 85KG, thus 42.5kg muscle mass. Than the taller guy should be 20% stronger. So hit/kick at least 20% harder (not even acounting for the extra distance he has to generate speed in punches and kicks.

But yeah. That's just punches and kicks.

For grapling, He should have an advantage in reach. And and advanatge of extra weight (and strngth) he can put in).

The biggest downside for the taller person is, speed, reflexes, and ability to quickly turn/twist.

Only prime Ali, was one the rare few tall guys. That had the relfexes, speed, and moveability of short guy.

Do you train krav maga?

I only know from personal practise Pencak Silat. It's a rather limited MMA; although we also train seperately for self defense use.
I should pick up an extra other MMA training. I think something with grapling as main, should be good. Maybe Jijitsu.

But for creating real resilliance. One needs to spar, and train under high pressure sitiations
