His whole point is to do a philosophical perspective of being an obviously bad person to hire, by eating, showering, acting weirdly and so forth. This abnormal behaviour gives the interviewer a higher social status in the situation. While the obviously lower status candidate is still acting abnormally he continues to pretend his behaviour is normal. This causes a reaction in the bosses brain, to think this person is socially abnormal and either being kind and continuing the interview understanding the humour of the situation, perhaps laughing or then taking the approach of ending the interview. This is particularly interesting due to it being a virtual interview, where neither person has anything for the other. There is only social status and how the higher status bosses, who are higher status due to the joke being on the other person and the possibility of ending the interview. The reason why this is interesting perhaps funny is due to seeing the reactions of other people.
