Norman (left) and Thrad (right) just graduated from boarding school, which they've known each other from since 9th grade. They were best friends, stuck together through thick and thin considering the ultra strict lifestyle mandated by the school and limited exposure to young women. But having gotten a college dorm together the world was now their oyster. Thrad suggested they try Tinder and the two registered with very high hopes and excitement for what the future could bring.
But something happened around that time. Norman for some reason became withdrawn and would refuse Thrad's good advice about how to navigate life's challenges. Despite Thrad's continued attention and effort, Norman started pulling away from their social outings, especially when women were present.
Thrad said he was hurt that Norman started being less a friend for no apparent reason but he said he needed to just move on with living.
"WTF is wrong with that guy anyway? Like after everything you've done for him!" --Thrad's first girlfriend.
"He should smile more, he like wants the world to be sad." --Thrad's second girlfriend.
