Let's say you're average looking.
1 in 10 average looking girls are potentially attracted to you, and maybe 1 in 100 good looking girls are potentially attracted.
Since you're a normie there probably won't even be 100 girls who will acknowledge your existence, so you have a very slim chance of meeting that "one in a hundred" good looking girl. If you're statusmaxxed you have more exposure and therefore a higher chance of meeting this girl.

Whereas in real life status makes a man attractive due to his capacity to achieve it, plus provides more exposure to women.
