Conversion gives me a 3.5. In the UK ABB is extremely low for good unis.

Most people need at least A*AA to be considered and the average is A*A*A at Oxford

No. They reduce boundaries for international students as they can get three times the £/per by getting foreigners in. Your admissions exam and interview won’t be changed, but your international equivalent of A-Levels will be taken into consideration for leniency.

Edinburgh is decent. I have an old friend who goes there. You can take a gap year, sure. Pretty sure UCAS has a system where you can apply then delay it for a year when accepted. You may want to look into your different options, but that’s the main way people take gap years here.

Bocconi is considered a target/semi-target school for London so you could get back to your homeland afterwards. I’ll be applying to Bocconi but I kinda wasted my 3rd year of high school so idk about my chances.

Edinburgh is decent. I have an old friend who goes there. You can take a gap year, sure. Pretty sure UCAS has a system where you can apply then delay it for a year when accepted. You may want to look into your different options, but that’s the main way people take gap years here.

They attend one of the most prestigious high schools in my country and had top 0.1% GPA’s so I’m pretty concerned about my results (I’ll be applying during the Winter session tho).
