This is Madras Checks. If you follow fashion even slightly you know they are all thr rage. They give a chic, elegant, vibrant preppy look that everyone wants.

Very few people actually know that Madras checks actually come from India. They're handwoven, hand-dyed, and dried in the sun. American brands like Ralph Lauren saw them and made them super popular, selling shirts, blazers, pants with this style for hundreds of dollarseven though in India, you can get the same kind for just 2-3$. The fabric has one flaw it fades a bit every time you wash it. But even that got turned into a cool selling point brands started using the phrase “Guaranteed to Bleed” as a way to prove it’s the real deal.
