idk when the term "blackpill" actually came about but the general concepts have been on 4chan since the 2000s, however that was when blackpill meant more like "were all doomed and theres nothing you can do" when it comes to genetics/looks, in the last few years blackpill and redpill have kind of fused together and the new blackpill is "looks are the most important thing in life/affect everything" and then looksmaxxing is the redpilled part
