This is a feeling ive had at my bottom. Theres some comfort in giving up which is what the thought is telling you to do. It also reliquishes some negative feelings about yourself. But the truth is the feelings and thoughts like this went away once things started to improve a bit. So this might be a sign your near the bottom.

Id recommend reading the book The Body Keeps The Score. Basically shows how trauma is at the root of a lot of mental illness like ADD, chronic depression. Also teaches ways to make your nervous system funcion like it naturally should, but maybe never did due to childhood/adolescent trauma.

I appreciate the recommendation, will read it. Yeah, I had pretty bad childhood/youth trauma tbh (abusive father). As you say, I believe its the root for my disorders.
