In one case 90 percent of men get killed. That leaves 5 men and 50 women. The 5 men will impregnate 50 women and they will recover. Case two the opossite happens. 5 women and 50 men. Not only will they not ever recover their numbers but they will kill eatch other over the remaining women.
-Women are more selective with who they have sex because the cost of pregnancy is so high. That is why they choose only the highest value man they can get. Men lose nothing by getting a low value women pregnant. A woman loses a lot if she chooses a low value man. Her kid will have lower chances of survival due to bad genes and the man, if he sticks around, will be a poor protector and provider.
