how do i go about getting an xray for my growth plates, surely i cant just ask my local gp (i live in the uk) and theyll issue me for an xray within a couple weeks right?

there are independent X-ray labs
they have an x-ray machine
just search on google " x-ray labs near me"

Im planning to do a wrist x ray soon, can they actually say how open my plates are or will i have to post it online
