This movie kinda made me emotional

Because it reminded me of here and incel community in a really emotional way.

At a couple of parts but especially when Arthur said “If that were me in the street you people would walk right over me.”

Also reminded me of times I treated people like garbage and I was treated like shit, unprovoked which haunts me to this day. In middle school an unfortunate looking (and unfortunate home situation) classmate in my first period let's call him Alex sat in the front row who I referred to and addressed as “Ugly Alex.” Every morning for an entire school year I would walk in and say “Hi Ugly Alex” / “Good morning Ugly Alex” and he would even respond “Hi.” And everyone would laugh. If I knew what I knew now I would never make fun of someone like that.

Just be nice to people. I am incel now and I don't think incels are “owed sex” (I preach self-improvement) but I do think everyone deserves to be treated kindly on a platonic level and not prejudged and mistreated for how they look.

The Joker writer stole the story from someone. And lacked imagination and especially, muse.

The real Joker's mother was roofied and raped by an intoxicated preacher who eventually lost his church because of drinking and gambling. She then tried to kill herself and unborn. She didn't want to raise a rape-child. She failed. And was committed into a psych ward. That's where she had her baby. On a downtown run-down psychiatric hospital floor.

She then became a witch. Lil Joker had to bear witness to this delusional mother and her practices. Though his older brother was the deranged one. Lil Joker would wake up having his face beaten in then falling back unconscious. His siblings' biological father was a serial killer. Though a clever one that the world never had the privilege of judging.

One evening, his mother and her new boyfriend for the month thought it would be cool to summon a demon using witchcraft while her kids were in their bedroom sleeping. Something went wrong. A wind blew through the home. Then a child screamed at the same time their pet parrot too screamed. The bird dropped dead. The boy, lil Joker, was frozen in time for half of an hour. The siblings were scared shitless. They saw fire all around him. The mom couldn't move him. He was paralyzed. And what he witnessed in that half of hour that felt much longer, is another story.

A week later, lil Joker burned the house down playing with matches.

During his adolescence, he was more attuned to nature and the beast. His mother continued practicing witchcraft. His brother never struck him again because of that night. Eventually, the state took him away because he asked them to. And became a product of the state. And learned the world is full of shit about everything.
