this shit made me feel even more pitiful towards old men

so i was sitting in bus today, coming home and i saw this old guy who looks homeless come to bus, he was crying and was keep smiling and then crying and swinging between these two, he said 'does this go to [x location]' and i said yea, he asked if he can sit (politeness that can not be seen even in so called 'civilized' people) then he just said how he is gonna die how he can barely see and kept crying then smiled and shit like these. i really feel sad for elderly men. i just cant hate them no matter what ever since i was born. they are perhaps the only people i genuinely feel sympathy towards.

Real same with like hardcore disabled pepole are pepole with Down syndrome

Like I know when I see a “wholesome” video of some old person or a person with downsyndrome your supposed to feel good but for some reason it just makes me feel worse not in a mean way but I just can’t describe it with words yk
