I applied for a government job months ago, did the vetting recently despite not wanting the job.
Didn't have good enough references so she told me to get more, and now keeps ringing me to ask if I did.
But no, I didn't. Cos I don't want the job. But I also wasn't completely sure of turning it down, so didn't say. Anyway, I'll have to tell her or just block the number tbh
