It's some Canadian guy giving rundown men advice on how to start their life over by escaping to a Third World shit hole with $10,000 and a 7 kg. luggage bag.
He proceeds to tell you to "live like a monk" in cramped "studio" rat holes in obscure Vietnamese towns where no expats live (who the fuck are you gonna communicate with??) and buy a shitty scooter for transportation. He also recommends to "eat like the locals" and stick to Vietnamese street food and low-end eateries as these only cost a couple of bucks a meal.
Since Vietnam only allows foreigners to stay for 90 days, when your time is up, you'll have to fly to a neighboring country, stay overnight, and fly back to restart the clock on another 90 days. You'll have to repeat this tedious routine every three fucking months.
Then comes the fun part, scrounging for work because, with only $10K to your name, you could quickly burn through it (or be extorted by corrupt cops) and become homeless and destitute thousands of miles from home. Time is running out. Better hit the ground running as soon as you arrive on your cheap discount carrier!
This shit is so sad. It actually makes me want to stay in America and appreciate what I got here, bad as it is.
