u need straight teeth aka a fixed bite with braces before being able to do bimax correct?

No. Not all bimax require braces before the surgery. In my case I don’t. I’m a surgery first patient. That’s why I get those nightly retainers. They don’t want the teeth to move after the planning etc. I will first have the surgery and then get braces. (Actually I get the braces one das before surgery but you get the point)

Surgery first is good for people who have only Minor malocclusions.

You will still need braces afterwards to bring the teeth into the correct position.

I have been using a retainer at night for like 3 years now

Thanks man. Sadly in about 3 months. Middle of summer. But honestly doesn’t matter to me. I don’t feel like doing summer stuff anyways.

Can’t share obviously. Not risking bimax cuz some aspies found it funny to dox me. No taking chances here. Healthcare is even covering it thanks to that surgeon.
