This woman is 98.2% White, yet looks mulatto (and has blue eyes).

His grandfather could be mulatto, but it’s also possible that he’s not.
Possibly, but I think I remember him saying they were from Africa. The mixed black people were mostly in the Americas. Especially places like Haiti.

Well, that’s interesting.
Just goes to show how counterintuitive genetics can sometimes be and how much recombination matters.

she looks white dog she just trying to transrace by giving herself a tan and curly hair
Yeah that's probably the best theory. Her eyes, mouth, and nose, don't look it. Doesn't have the same protrusion of the maxilla that a lot of blax have

2 percent could never have this effect on polygenic things like skin color. Its either race frauding or somehow the test was wrong imo

This is one of the many weird phenotype- genotype mismatches I have observed when I was looking at people’s ancestry and their faces across North and Latin America.

It seems like these mismatches are most frequent in Mestizos, and then Blacks with a noteworthy amount of non-Black DNA (sometimes it would do very little to their appearance, rarely have a huge effect, there was this Black Cuban woman who was 85.9% Black and the rest being almost entirely white, and she had light skin and hazel eyes), and other kinds of hybrids found in Latin America.

There are actually many other examples of these kinds of mismatches, but these are the ones that I wanted to show you.

I’m trying to make sense of this, but I’m failing.
@Jatt

Brutal. Imagine being 1% african and THAT is the phenotype expressed in your face, skin, and hair

To me it looks like the hair is the biggest factor here.

Here's how she would look with straight hair:

Of course there's still some subtle pheno bits.

What's your take on this? @enchanted_elixir
Looks much better here
