I was standing on the entrance to my work site (security) and saw a woman about to cross the road, and then turned away. A few seconds later I turned back and she was gone.
She couldn't have crossed the road because she was nowhere to be seen, and it was at a roundabout. The only possible explanation is she turned around and went back the way she came, which was obscured from my view, but it was weird. I was looking around to see where she went
