Truth is, I’m in a similar boat, and I’ve been exactly where you are 5 years ago. It’s hard to come to terms with the fact that you won’t be accepted over something as superficial as your exterior

What’s important to realise is, you should not be pursuing their acceptance.
If they are the type to be vain, then their acceptance shouldn’t matter to you. These negative people shouldn’t have worth in your eyes
