Are you racially exclusive?
It’s a culture thing for me. The way I see it, reproducing with someone is a form of voting since your offspring will be influenced by both yours and the mother’s values, beliefs, worldview. By creating new life, you manifest something into this world. More often than not, intercultural / interracial manifestation happens because either or both parties have no intention to preserve their culture, which often stems from selfhate (just think of deragotary terms like gaijin hunter or coon).
I’m not self hating. I like the culture, the community I was born into, I follow the traditions I was taught by my elders and would like to preserve it for future generations. This means that I naturally don’t feel the need to date out of my community.
To answer your question directly, no, race wouldn’t be a disqualifier for me if I really like someone, but then again I might ask myself what that person has that made me choose her over many girls who are culturally similar to me.
