Actually their outfits could look nice if they didn't go over the top with the accesories. Lose the waist coat, the fedora,the white flower thing on the coat, more normal slim fit pants and I'll totally wear this to a formal event.

Yeah. The full suits need an occasion but you could buy sports coats or blazers with brighter colours. They look more casual and can be worn anywhere. Make you stand out from the crowd too. Sports coat+jeans and a nice shirt.
