Counterfeit is very easy to tell. Lots of ppl who hustle stuff on marketplace have ways to verify cash since they do it all the time. Counterfeit detection pens are like $20 on Amazon. There were some people years back who figured out the exact formula for producing indistinguishable counterfeits, but they were caught and the materials have since changed.
